Keep Your Home In Macomb
This is a long form text area designed for your content that you can fill up with as many words as your heart desires. You can write articles, long mission statements, company policies, executive profiles, company awards/distinctions, office locations, shareholder reports, whitepapers, media mentions and other pieces of content that don’t fit into a shorter, more succinct space.
Articles – Good topics for articles include anything related to your company – recent changes to operations, the latest company softball game – or the industry you’re in. General business trends (think national and even international) are great article fodder, too.
Mission statements – You can tell a lot about a company by its mission statement. Don’t have one? Now might be a good time to create one and post it here. A good mission statement tells you what drives a company to do what it does.
Company policies – Are there company policies that are particularly important to your business? Perhaps your unlimited paternity/maternity leave policy has endeared you to employees across the company. This is a good place to talk about that.
Executive profiles – A company is only as strong as its executive leadership. This is a good place to show off who’s occupying the corner offices. Write a nice bio about each executive that includes what they do, how long they’ve been at it, and what got them to where they are.
I was elected to serve you as Macomb County Treasurer in November 2016, committed to delivering real results along with integrity and transparency in government.
As a result of earning the full support of my incredible staff, along with building great working relationships with the Office of County Executive and the County Board of Commissioners, I proudly present to you in this report what has been achieved on your behalf.
Each year since taking my oath of office – I have increased the number of payment plans for our neighbors under the “Keep Macomb Your Home” program, resulting in a reduction of tax foreclosures in our county.
I have increased the total investment income while minimizing risk, with the hope of making it unnecessary for the county to raise our taxes.
And I have held other elected officials accountable, having played a key role in the removal of an incompetent county clerk and the recovery of forfeiture funds improperly held by the county prosecuting attorney.
These accomplishments are a consequence of hard work and the application of common sense to government operations. I encourage you to review the numbers referenced in this report because they make clear in an objective manner what has been accomplished.
It has truly been an honor to be your Macomb County Treasurer. I hope you are as proud of these accomplishments as I am because I recognize we are all in this together. As we look forward to the future, I am confident we will continue to deliver real results for our residents as we have done these last few years.
